You can select from face-to-face, live remote and self-paced online and topics range from subject knowledge to assessment and SEND. Leading Primary Computing (Face-to-Face or Remote)

PRIMARY

This two-day course will help new Computing Leads to clarify their role and to develop and implement a broad and balanced curriculum. You will learn how best to lead the improvement of Computing teaching and learning, and to provide professional support to others.

Preparing for Ofsted (Remote)

Find out what to expect from an Ofsted visit to your school with this short course and learn how to prepare for it as a Computing Lead.

Getting Started in Year 3 (Remote)

PRIMARY

Get an overview of all 6 units and a demonstration of some of the software used in Year 3 of the Teach Computing Scheme of Work.  There are separate courses for each year group, of course!

Foundation Knowledge of Computer Science for KS3 and GCSE  (Face-to-Face and Remote)

SECONDARY

For Computer Science teachers who are ECTs or new to the subject. This course covers algorithms, data representation, hardware and programming.

Preparing for Ofsted (Remote)

An introduction to computer systems, networking and security in GCSE (Face-to-Face and Remote)
